We are excited to announce that special event station K3H will be on the air as part of the Eastern PA Homestead Festival, taking place July 3–6, 2025 at the Kutztown Fairgrounds in Kutztown, Pennsylvania.
This special event station highlights the role of amateur radio in self-reliance, preparedness, and community support. Throughout the four-day festival, K3H operators will demonstrate live amateur radio operations on both HF and VHF/UHF bands, showcasing the importance of resilient, independent communications that work even when modern infrastructure fails.

- Station: K3H Special Event Station

- Times: 0900–1900 daily
- Location: Kutztown Fairgrounds, Kutztown, PA
- Bands: HF (40m, 20m, 15m, 10m), VHF/UHF (2m, 70cm, APRS, local contacts)
- Modes: SSB, CW, Digital, FM
- Power: Solar-powered with battery storage — no commercial power

We will be issuing special event QSL cards for confirmed contacts. Details for QSL requests will be provided during the event or by contacting the event organizers directly.

Amateur radio remains a cornerstone of emergency preparedness, off-grid communications, and community service.
