Hi everyone –
I’ve decided to cancel any travel at least through the end of this month. I’m doing this partly because of the Coronavirus and partly because of the spread of the Flu. Close to 20,000 people have died because of the Flu in the US so far this Flu season. I don’t think the media is paying enough attention to this fact.
I don’t want to encourage people to come to meetings simply because I’m going to be there. I’m going to try to reschedule my meetings this month for later.
Please use the precautions recommended by the CDC. Wash your hands with an anti-bacterial soap. Cough or sneeze into your elbow. Avoid crowds whenever possible.
I will resume my visits as soon as the situation warrants. I really believe once the warm weather gets here and we get out in the fresh air and sunshine we will all be better off in many ways.
In the meantime, if your club would like a video conference with me, I’ll still schedule those. I’d prefer to meet in person when possible so I hope to see you this summer. I’m still planning on attending Hamfests and visiting clubs
Don’t forget, the Eastern Pennsylvania Emergency Phone and Traffic Net has moved the starting time to 6 PM EDT. Hope to see you on 3917 kHz.
