Reading Radio Club Technician Licensing Classes
When: Nov. 6, 13, 20, 28, and 30
Class will begin at 6:30p and end at 8:30p. Instructors will be available from 6:00p to 9:00p.
The first four dates will be instruction time. On the last date, we will have a Q&A and then proceed to take the exam.
Where: Spring Township Fire and Rescue Facility, 2301 Monroe Ave, Reading, PA 19609
Costs: We ask that each student purchase the “The ARRL Ham Radio License Manual, 3rd Ed.” and have it in hand before the first class. The price from ARRL.org is $29.95, however, you may be able to find it elsewhere. There will also be a $15 processing fee to take the exam.

There are 24 spots available. First come, first serve.
Before the first class session, students are asked to read chapter 1 “Welcome to Amateur Radio” as this will provide a foundation to build on. Students will also be asked to complete reading assignments outside of class.
