Marple Newtown ARC activates POTA station at Valley Forge National Historical Park

A team of operators from the Marple Newtown Amateur Radio Club in Delaware County activated a POTA station at Valley Forge National Historical Park on Saturday, April 15. The team of twelve set up operation at the Varnum picnic area close to the Washington Memorial Chapel. Three transceivers were used with one on 20m SSB, one on 40m SSB and one on 20m CW using the club call K3MN. Despite rain in the forecast and band conditions less than ideal, the team logged scores of QSOs.
