Here’s something just for fun! In honor of Punxsutawney Phil, the Punxsutawney Area Amateur Radio Club, K3HWJ, will be operating a Special Event Station.
The Annual Ground Hog Day Special Event Station will be held this year on Saturday, February 5th from about 8:00 a.m. till at least 3:00 p.m. or later, depending upon band conditions at that time.
They plan to use:
- 40 meters on or about 7183
+/- about 5 khz.- 20 meters on or about 14330
+/- about 5 khz.- 80 meters backup in case problems on or about 3845
+/- about 5 khz.A certificate for a “SASE” (self addressed stamped envelope).
