The Council Rock South High School Amateur Radio Club in Holland, Bucks County has a scheduled contact with the International Space Station on May 1. About 30 students from the ham club and science and technology students, are involved in the educational project that will culminate with an ARISS (Amateur Radio on the International Space Station) contact on May 1 at 1243 UTC. Council Rock South High School science teacher, Jerry Fetter-K3OHI has been working with students divided into three teams including Marketing, Engineering and Systems Integration. Assisting Jerry in the project are members from both the Warminster Amateur Radio Club and the Frankford Radio Club including Irwin Darack-KD3TB, Andy Vavra-KD3RF, Bill Ballentine-K3FMQ, Michael Shanblatt-W3MAS and Joe Horanzy-AA3JH.
