Well, Looks like things are getting serious.
Governor Wolf has just issued a proclamation ordering all business which are not life sustaining to close. Grocery and drug stores are considered life sustaining.
I have attached files I have received from W.T. Jones, EPA SEC for your information.
We have NOT been requested to provide communications support by any of our served agencies at this time.
NO ARES NETS HAVE BEEN STARTED.
If communications support is required, we will contact your county Emergency Coordinators.
As for now, maintain social distancing, stay home if not absolutely necessary, wash your hands and don’t touch your face.
President Trump and the committee coordinating activities in relation to the COVID-19 virus have recommended not having meetings with more than 9 people and maintaining recommended distancing.
Get on your local repeaters. Get on HF and talk with others. We do have an East PA Section Net every evening at 6PM on 3917 KHz. Everyone is welcome.
DON’T PANIC! We’re going to get through this and soon everything will be back to normal.
If you have DMR, I am monitoring Pennsylvania Wide Talk Group 3142 and the NE PA Talk group 31424 for any calls.
