Looking for something fun and educational to do with your kids this summer? Come out to the ARRL Kids’ Day Event on June 15th at the Nature Center, Mt. Pisgah State Park, in Troy, PA from 2 pm to 7 pm. This event is designed to promote Amateur Radio to youth (or anyone) and to give an “on the air” experience to anyone interested in Amateur Radio. For questions or directions, call 570-529-1783 or email kb3ipt@yahoo.com. Amateur Radio is a great thing to learn about and will help us when we have a disaster.
Mount Pisgah State Park is in the scenic Endless Mountains region of Pennsylvania’s Northern Tier. Midway between Troy and Towanda in Bradford County, the 1,302-acre park is along Mill Creek, at the base of Mt. Pisgah, elevation 2,260 feet.
